The agreement
These terms apply when a business or organisation ("you") uses Govodo, a service provided by Scrini AI ("Scrini", "we", "us"). Whoever accepts them for an organisation confirms they are authorised to do so. If you have signed a separate agreement with us, that agreement takes priority where the two differ.
Accounts
- You are responsible for the people you give access to your workspace, and for what is done with their sign-ins and your API keys.
- Keep passwords and keys secret, and tell us straight away if you think one has been misused.
- The information you give us about your organisation must be accurate.
Calling and messaging people
Govodo places and answers calls and sends messages on your instructions. You decide whom to contact and what is said, so you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to those calls and messages, wherever you and the people you contact are. In particular, you are responsible for:
- Consent. Having the right to call or message each person, including the consent that telemarketing, automated calling and AI-voice rules require. Examples include the TRAI regulations and the national do-not-call registry in India, and the TCPA in the United States.
- Do-not-call lists. Checking national and industry do-not-call lists. Govodo skips numbers that asked your workspace not to be called again, for campaign and queued calls. It does not check national registries, and it does not apply to calls you dial directly.
- Recording. Telling people a call is recorded, and getting their consent where the law requires. Calls are recorded unless you turn recording off.
- AI disclosure. Telling people they are speaking to an AI where the law or fairness requires it. You write your agent's opening line.
- Calling hours, caller ID and opt-outs. Calling only at permitted times, from numbers you are entitled to use, and honouring requests to stop.
Govodo is not a replacement for a phone line to emergency services and must not be relied on to contact them.
Acceptable use
You must not use Govodo to:
- contact people unlawfully, or send spam or unwanted bulk messages;
- impersonate a person or organisation, or deceive people about who is calling or why;
- harass, threaten or defraud anyone, or collect payment card details or passwords over a call;
- make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people without human review;
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- attack, probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits or security.
We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules, or that puts other people or the service at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first.
Your data
You own the content you put into Govodo and the data it produces for you, such as recordings, transcripts and records. You give us permission to process it only to provide, secure and support the service, as described in our privacy policy. For the people you call and message, we process personal data on your instructions.
AI output
Govodo's agents use AI models. Their replies, summaries, scores and extracted details can be wrong or incomplete. Review what matters before you rely on it, and set your agents' instructions and knowledge so they say what you intend.
Other services
Govodo works with services you choose and connect, such as phone carriers, calendars, CRMs, messaging accounts and AI providers. Their own terms govern your use of them. We are not responsible for them or for what they do with data you send them.
Fees
You pay the fees on our pricing page or in your order. Charges for carriers and other services you connect with your own accounts are billed to you by them.
The service
We work to keep Govodo available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free unless a separate agreement says so. We may change or improve features. If we remove something you depend on, we will give you reasonable notice. Features marked as beta or preview are provided as they are.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Govodo at any time. We may end these terms with notice, or straight away for a serious breach. When the agreement ends, you can ask us to export or delete your data, as set out in the privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows:
- neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data;
- our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You are responsible for claims that arise from the calls and messages you make with Govodo, and from your breach of these terms. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you before they take effect. Continuing to use Govodo after that means you accept the new terms.
